BASINGSTOKE CARE HOME
Macob Properties has sold a plot of land in Basingstoke to care home provider Grace Lodge Care Investments for development into a 72 bed care home.
Macob purchased the 0.3 hectare site on Grove Road, formerly occupied by a car showroom, in May 2008. Planning permission was granted in 2010 for a three-storey purpose-built accommodation, which will offer specialist nursing and dementia care for the elderly.
The site has now been taken over by Gracewell Healthcare, which is developing the new homes.
Work is scheduled to be complete and ready for opening in May 2012.
