Two new deals at Greenmeadow Springs
Two new office deals have been concluded at Macob’s Greenmeadow Springs development in Cardiff.
The 12.5 acre business scheme situated on junction 32 of the M4 is continuing to prove popular having attracted one of the UK’s leading building services providers, NG Bailey, for occupation of a 4,709 sq ft plot.
NG Bailey offers a comprehensive range of services to the construction and property industries, including mechanical, electrical and ICT design, prefabrication, installation and commissioning – all with lifetime maintenance.
David Thomas, operations director for NG Bailey, said, “We wanted to move to larger, more modern office premises, and felt that Greenmeadow Springs offered great facilities in a convenient location for the 40 strong team that are now based here. It also supports our continued growth in the area.”
Wayne Rees, Director for Macob, added: “We welcome NG Bailey to Greenmeadow Springs, which is once again proving its popularity with top-class firms.”
Rob Emanuel of Emanuel Jones, the joint agents for the development with DTZ, said, “Despite the tough market conditions, there is still demand for good quality office space in excellent locations. There is a continued high interest in Greenmeadow Springs and we are confident that this will translate into more deals in the coming months.”
Another recent deal to have taken place at Greenmeadow Springs was the sale of unit one to a private investor. The 4,700 sq ft unit is currently occupied by Leonard Cheshire and AGT Consultants.
Macob is also currently developing the second phase totalling 64,500 sq ft at Bocam Park, Pencoed, as well as the proposed £200m Wales International Business Park near junction 33 of the M4.
